The half way mark.
Running my half marathons, or any other set distance really, I focused on smaller steps that eventually added up to the full distance. This helped me to stay focused, to not be overwhelmed, and to celebrate the little milestones that make up the whole goal. Then, the half mark was a big, big deal!
Naturally, this approach to goals and projects has spanned into the rest of my life. And here we are, on the half mark of a one-month goal – to blog every day.
It’s been fun so far and for some reason, I’m quite surprised by it. I thought it would have started to feel like a chore by now, or that real life would have made it far too difficult to be inspired or motivated, but hey, here I am. In fact, if anything, this goal is keeping me sane and grounded this November. I can do this. And I can do so much more! That’s empowerment right there… enjoy!
